Prunus laurocerasus Rotundifolia

Prunus laurocerasus 'Rotundifolia' is a vigorous, dense evergreen laurel prized for its broad, rounded, glossy green leaves that form an excellent privacy screen. It thrives in sun or light shade and in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soils. If left unclipped it produces upright racemes of small white spring flowers, sometimes followed by berries. Fast-growing and reliable, an unclipped plant can ultimately reach about 5m in height and around 4m in spread.
