PHOTINIA SERR. RED ROBIN CLT 130 / 180 H 200 / + CM
Photinia × fraseri 'Red Robin' is a versatile evergreen hedging shrub valued for its vivid red young foliage that matures to glossy green, with clusters of small white flowers in spring if not clipped beforehand. Suited to sun or light shade and fertile, well‑drained soil, it makes an excellent screening hedge that can be kept neatly formal or allowed a more relaxed, architectural presence. Left untrimmed it can reach approximately 3–4m in height and around 2.5–3m in spread over time, though it is usually maintained lower with regular clipping; provide some shelter from cold, drying winds.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
