Ligustrum Ovalifolium (Privet)

Ligustrum ovalifolium is a vigorous, semi-evergreen privet that forms a dense, reliable hedge for urban or suburban sites. Thriving in full sun or light shade and tolerant of a wide range of soils, it produces clusters of small white summer flowers followed by glossy black berries. The dark green foliage often persists year-round, though some leaf drop may occur in harsher winters. Expect an eventual size of around 3m in height and 3m in spread when mature, making it a versatile choice for screening and formal hedging.
