Griselinia littoralis

Griselinia littoralis is a fast-growing, large evergreen shrub with glossy, bright green leaves that clip neatly into a dense, tidy hedge, making an excellent year-round backdrop and coastal screen. It establishes quickly, is well suited to full sun or light shade, and prefers moist but well-drained, reasonably fertile soil. If left untrimmed it can reach about 8m tall and 4m wide, yet it responds very well to regular clipping.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
