Fargesia murieliae Red Rhino

Fargesia murieliae 'Red Rhino' is a clump-forming, non-running evergreen bamboo valued for creating graceful, privacy-giving hedges and screens. Its slender, upright to gently arching canes carry dense green foliage that holds year-round, forming a refined, leafy barrier that suits contemporary and naturalistic gardens alike. Best in sun or light shade with moisture-retentive, well-drained soil, this umbrella bamboo is reliably hardy and naturally compact for a bamboo screen. Expect an eventual height of about 3–4m with a natural spread of roughly 2–3m if left untrimmed.
