Trachelospermum jasminoides

Trachelospermum jasminoides is a twining, evergreen climber valued for its glossy green foliage, which can take on bronze tints in colder weather, and for its intensely fragrant, star-shaped white flowers that appear in summer and may age to cream. Ideal for training on walls, arches and pergolas in a warm, sheltered spot, it thrives in fertile, well-drained soil with sun or light shade. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. Given time, it can reach around 6–8m in height and spread 3–4m across a suitable support, providing elegant year-round cover and seasonal fragrance.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.
