Trachelospermum jasm. Star of Toscane

Trachelospermum jasminoides 'Star of Toscana' is an evergreen twining climber prized for its glossy green foliage and richly scented summer blooms. The flowers are a distinctive soft yellow and appear in mid to late summer, providing heady fragrance around seating areas, entrances and sheltered walls. Best grown in sun or light shade with protection from cold winds, it thrives in fertile, well-drained soil and is ideal for training over arches, pergolas and trellises. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. Ultimately, expect an approximate mature height of around 6–8m and a spread of about 3–4m when given a suitable structure and time.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.
