PASSIFLORA VICTORIA

Passiflora 'Victoria' is a vigorous, twining passionflower prized for its exotic-looking blooms and handsome foliage, ideal for training against a warm, sheltered wall, fence or pergola. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. Provide sun or light shade and moderately fertile, well-drained soil; tie in young shoots and prune lightly in late winter or early spring to remove any winter damage and to keep growth within bounds. When well sited and trained, it can reach approximately 3–5m in height and spread around 2–3m across its support over time.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall).
