JASMINUM POLYANTHUS

JASMINUM POLYANTHUS

Jasminum polyanthum is a vigorous, evergreen to semi-evergreen twining climber prized for its intensely fragrant clusters of pink-tinged buds that open to starry white flowers from late winter into early spring. Ideal for a warm, bright conservatory, sunroom or sheltered patio, it thrives in full sun or light shade and prefers a moderately fertile, well-drained growing medium. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. Train and tie in new shoots to a trellis or wires, and trim lightly after flowering to maintain shape. In frost-free conditions it can reach around 6m in height and 3m in spread over time, creating a lush vertical screen with glossy green foliage.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
