Craspedia Golf Beauty 2L

Craspedia Golf Beauty 2L

Craspedia ‘Golf Beauty’ is grown for its neat, spherical, golden-yellow flowerheads held on slender, wiry stems above a low clump of foliage. In Ireland it performs best in full sun with very free-draining, light, sandy or gritty soil, making a striking feature for containers or dry, sheltered borders. Flowering through summer, the long-lasting stems are excellent for cutting and can also be dried. In colder or wet winters, treat as a half-hardy perennial by growing in containers that can be moved to a bright, frost-free place, and deadhead to encourage further blooms.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
