Coronilla glauca Citrina

Coronilla valentina subsp. glauca ‘Citrina’ (often listed as Coronilla glauca ‘Citrina’) is a compact, rounded, semi-evergreen shrub with fine, blue‑green foliage and clusters of softly scented, pale lemon-yellow, pea-like flowers in late winter and spring, with the chance of a lighter repeat later in the season. Best in full sun and a very free-draining soil, it appreciates a warm, sheltered position and suits coastal gardens in Ireland. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it typically reaches about 1m high and wide over time; avoid winter wet and provide protection in severe cold.
