Clematis Princess Kate 2 Ltr, single cane

Clematis (Texensis Group) 'Princess Kate' is a deciduous, medium-sized climber prized for its distinctive, tulip-shaped flowers that are typically white within with rich pink outer tepals, produced in mid- to late summer and early autumn. Ideal for adding vertical interest to walls, trellises, arches and obelisks, it grows best in sun or light shade in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. At maturity it will generally reach about 2–3m in height and around 1–1.5m in spread across its support, making it well-suited to small and medium gardens. Prune in late winter or early spring as a late-flowering clematis (Group 3) to encourage strong new growth and abundant blooms.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
