Clematis 'Nelly Moser'

Clematis 'Nelly Moser'

Clematis 'Nelly Moser' is an early large-flowered clematis admired for its broad, pale pink blooms marked with a deeper pink bar. Flowers typically appear in late spring to early summer, with a further flush in early autumn. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. Ideal in sun or light shade (flowers hold their colour best with some shade), in fertile, moist but well-drained soil that is neutral to alkaline. Excellent for training on trellises, arches, pergolas or against walls for vertical interest. Expect an eventual height of about 3m with a spread of around 1.5m across a suitable support.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
