Ceanothus Concha

Ceanothus 'Concha' is a fast-growing evergreen selection valued for its glossy, dark green foliage and abundant clusters of deep blue flowers in late spring to early summer that are attractive to pollinators. Best planted in full sun with shelter and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it is well-suited to training against a warm wall or as a dense backdrop in mixed borders. This climber requires a suitable support to establish and grow. At maturity it typically reaches around 2.5–3m in height with a spread of approximately 3–4m, and it can tolerate dry, sunny conditions once established; in coastal gardens it performs well in a sheltered position.

This climbing plant has been trained onto a supporting frame to create a neat, well-shaped specimen that is ready for planting. As it grows, new shoots can be guided and secured to continue developing its natural shape.
